35mm landscapes and another of Patricia

I went for a morning walk yesterday up the hill from camp. Here's a few b&w landscape shots...

almost all the snow has melted. Crazy!

these next few are from the burnt forest. this one (below) I like a lot!

this one (below) is a little hard to read on the computer monitor -- but I love it for texture and quietness...

and another bark picture....

something about the lines and shapes and design of this one below appeals to me...

This one below is from Detroit lake. I'm having a hard time getting the scan of it to work -- it was such a dramatic scene -- but now the sunlight is pouring in through the window behind me -- making my monitor all washed out. Anyway, hopefully you get the idea -- detroit lake -- water level lowered what looks like maybe 20-30 feet -- revealing the stumps of trees cut down long ago....
